Introducing the shiny new Chipp Coffee Co

Over the last 18 months, I've worked with my good pals, Ernest Studio, to refresh the Chipp Coffee Co brand that we created almost 5 years ago.

Collectively we felt the brand needed a little glow up, to better showcase my personal love for speciality coffee and share that passion far and wide, in a boxfresh format that can take pride of place on your kitchen counter.

So much love and care has gone into it, creating something I'm really proud of. We've kept our favourite bits from the Chipp you know and love, whilst adding a cheeky nod to my Yorkshire roots.

250g coffee products are now for sale in boxes - all contents are still fully recyclable 🕺.

1kg coffee orders will still be provided in fully recyclable bags (that would have to be one large box 🤪).

If you follow Chipp Coffee Co on social media, you may have noticed the lil' owl 'Leo' over the weekend.

Being Leeds born and bred, I wanted to have an element to the brand that had a deep connection to my roots and the city I love so much. From there, Leo was born and now features throughout CCC.

Did you know, there are three owls on Leeds City Council's coat of arms, enormous golden owl statues outside Civic Hall and sculptures and paintings of the nocturnal birds at 24 other locations around the city?

Frenchman, Sir John Savile, the first Alderman of Leeds, arrived in the UK after his family were given a huge areas of land in Yorkshire by William the Conqueror, because they supported him in the Battle of Hastings in 1066. He decided to include owls when he designed his coat of arms, it is not clear why - but I bloody love it!

So that's where the owl comes from, but why the name? Again, it comes from the history of Leeds...

The Roman name for Leeds was 'Leodis', I simply shortened it to Leo and thought it was pretty cool! 😎
