Uganda Rwenzori - AGRI EVOLVE
We've had this coffee in a number of times now so instead of telling you about the bean itself i'm going to tell you about the wonderful people who are responsible for bringing this stunning coffee to you season after season.
The gents at AGRI EVOLVE are still doing wonderful work for their farmers and community. The company has built up an insane network of 20,000 registered smallholder farmers with a dedicated full time staff of 80 team members which has made them the largest employer in the region! They work with the farmers in this amazing region on a daily, face-to-face basis to build strong connections, engage with local communities, improve rural livelihoods and support efficient supply chains.
Moving into 2026 they are officially in the back half of their ACE 2030 programme. ACE 2030 is a 10 year programme developed by AGRI Evolve to align themselves with the Sustainable Development Goals that were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a call-to-action for people worldwide to address critical areas of importance relating to agriculture, sustainability and environmental causes . Their main aim is to ensure long term prosperity and peace for people and the planet, now and into the future.
Some of the great work they've conducted so far includes *big deep breath*, providing training and support for farmers, further education on soil conservation, mulching and pruning among other good agricultural practices, provided sanitation for schools, supported safe drinking water schemes through providing a water borehole at the local town, mentored and supported six youth teams to become independent small businesses, contributed to relief efforts following local flooding which destroyed homes and infrastructure, established Village Savings and Loan Association projects which encourage groups of farmers and especially women farmers, to come together to use a savings scheme to fund improvements to their farming activities, enabled over 2420 energy efficient stoves to be constructed for local families to save firewood, planted over 250000 native shade trees through supporting community nursery beds and continue to progress with consistent carbon offsetting JUST TO NAME A FEW THINGS.
Chipp Coffee Co. Roastery Update.

Your support has allowed us to expand in to a second unit, roast more coffee than ever, purchase more coffee than ever, hire more staff, support more causes and generally do more good stuff than we have ever been able to do in the past and we couldn't do that if you lovely lot didn't buy our coffee so thank you.
